Hi, I’m Ethan (he/him). My official name is I-Hsien (pronounced Yì-xīan) Chen.

I’m an engineer, designer, and practicing entrepreneur who builds thoughtful products. I am also a painter and dreamer who chases meaningful ideas. People describe me as responsible, down‑to‑earth, easy‑going, empathetic, and a little humorous, even if this website does not look as bright as my personality.​

I love people. Understanding how they think, feel, and decide is the essence of my work—whether I’m prototyping a new feature, sketching ideas, presenting a strategy, or pressure‑testing a concept.
